It’s coming! Giffer 2.6 has been submitted to Apple for approval.
This feature is working great and is all set for Giffer 3.0! Coming soon to an app store near you. :)
The next version of Giffer is almost upon us!
Put on a instagram option to post so it will be a greater hit!243 votes
I’m pleased to announce that Instagram sharing will be available in Giffer v3.5, which should be available in a week or so! In the meantime, follow https://www.instagram.com/gifferapp/
Thanks for your support!
(Was: "Don't crop photos when importing")
Hi! I'm combining both of your awesome ideas (adjusting size/position of imported pictures and don't crop photos) into this one idea because I'll probably tackle them both at the same time. It will be pretty epic.
Thanks a lot for your suggestions!
In the next version of Giffer imported photos will be (non-destructably) scaled to fit the canvas area. After importing you can re-position them individually or all at the same time using the new crop tool. Hooray!
It would be nice to be able to add text to gifs, so that people could maybe get a joke better if it's supposed to be a funny gif.97 votes
This will be in the next version of Giffer. Thanks!
The crop tool is finished and the next version of Giffer is right around the corner! Thanks for your patience! Exclamation points!!
Not many of you folks use iPads, but due to the issue with choosing photos from your camera roll, I’m trying to get initial iPad support going. Thanks for using Giffer!
I’m pleased to announce that in Giffer v3.5 you’ll be able to export your gifs as videos! Then you can share your gifs as videos to services that don’t support animated gifs. (Note: Instagram sharing will also be available in Giffer v3.5). Version 3.5 should be ready in about a week, as soon as Apple puts a ring on it.
I'd like the ability to create animations with more frames in them.54 votes
Have lots of current gifs I would like to add to the app and use giffer for playing them back45 votes
This will be included in Giffer 3.0! Thanks for the feedback!
While creating a GIF I'd like the ability to re-arrange the frames, possibly by holding my finger on a frame and dragging it left and right between the other frames.41 votes
This feature will be in the next version of giffer! Thanks a bunch for the suggestion!
Alright! This feature made it in the next version of Giffer! Thanks for the suggestion! Woo!
I took 16 pictures in the Camera app using the burst feature where I held down the shutter button. However Giffer Pro only sees one picture.25 votes
I’m pleased to announce that importing burst photos into your gif will finally be possible in Giffer, with version 3.5. The next version should be available in about a week, as soon as Apple approves it.
Thanks and happy giffing!
Allow video to be captured in landscape mode rather than just portrait mode.20 votes
Alright! This will be included in the next version of giffer! Thanks for the suggestion.
Since the new Pro version, the possibility to assign individual duration times for frames has disappeared. Please put it back! It's important in many cases, where a certain frame must have a particularly short or long duration.18 votes
Thanks for the suggestion. Individual frame delays will return in the next version of Giffer, which is coming super soon!
This will be in the next version of giffer (coming soon!) thanks for the suggestion!
While viewing a GIF, it'd be nice to be able to zoom in or out of the GIF. Similar to zooming in or out of a picture in the iPod photo library.8 votes
Done! Thanks for the suggestion!
Some GIFs have that sweet spot, that one frame that's so awesome you just want to state at it for a while. It would be awesome if we could have some sort of pause button for our GIFs.7 votes
In the next version of Giffer gifs will pause while you scroll. If you’d like to pause a GIF, simply scroll a bit and hold your finger down. The gif will remain paused while your finger is pressed on the screen.
To download a gif from tumblr. I'm on my iPhone whenever I find an awesome gif from tumblr that I wanna save. You can reblog a gif into your blog on Tumblr, and so if you allowed us to find our blogs and gifs on a browser (directly in app, or like have an option on the tumblr app/safari saying "download to Giffer") it'd be a lot easier to download them.6 votes
This kind of already exists in the new version of Giffer Pro (and regular Giffer too, as soon as Apple approves it – hopefully sometime this week.) All you have to do is hold your finger on a GIF you like in Safari, choose “Copy” then in Giffer, tap the down arrow button on whichever folder you’d like to import it to, and select “paste a gif”. Hope this helps!
